Inside the amex building in WFC1 (World Financial Center) opposite Ground Zero, there was an exhibition of pictures of their more famous members!!

Winter Garden

There was an exhibition at the time displaying 5 tenders on rebuilding the Ground Zero site. Some pretty amazing ideas including a memorial park to remember those who perished in the crash.

Winter Garden-2

Thiis is the other side the winter garden in WFC2 which was damaged in the WTC crash. All the structure has been rebuilt to its former glory. There are also spectacular views of the Hudson river on the riverside promenade outside. Unfortunately, i was too cold to venture out and get more pics so i decided to say indoors, with a delicious cup of coffee and a sandwich and ventured towards the shops later ;-)
