Giant Sized Borofsky

After the recent renovation of Penn Station in Baltimore it was decided hire an artist to create a scuplture to create a piece of art to complete the renovation. So the city of Baltimore hired Jonathan Borofsky to create a statue to stand in the square in front of Penn Station.

His creation stands 51 feet tall. It is made of a hollow core of aluminum and cost the city $750,000.

The piece represents two bodies. One male. One female. They intersect down the middle and have an common heart that pulsates in blue and red colors.

If you arrive in Baltimore by train this will be the first thing you will see when you leave the train station. Its impossible to miss. It just kind of stands there and towers over the neighborhood.

lived just across the border on Frederick Rd. Oella? or further up the hill? I know that road like the back of my hand, or at least up to the turn off for UMBC :P
