I grew up near the easten part of Singapore. My kampung used to be called "Jalan Betik" located near Geylang Serai (this name is no longer around) and another in Lorong L near Siglap area. After which I shifted to Marine Drive Block 60. Unit 05-??? forgotten the unit number!

This picture was shot under my home block and it symbolizes the place where I grew up where I used to swing sway with the "kidz under the block" image where I spent many of my childhood years. During the "mad rock" era, we used to sit under the block until the wee hours chit chatting and playing songs with our acoustic guitar.

So by now, you can guess where my nic come from. This was my second formed band since school days. We were merely into hard core ROCK n ROLL influence from "LOUDNESS" and "METALICA" and the lists goes on.......

Outside one of the club in Parkway Parade. We used to performed there every Thursday night. Most of our our repoire of songs consists both rock n' roll and a bit of funk. The band finally became more "matured" and appreciate jazz, blues, pop, and R&B.

Didn't keep much of my pictures having long hair during that time though. Fortunately, this is the one and only picture of me having a shoulder length long hair which I have kept tight!!

My parents hated and disagreed of me keeping my hair long!! I can still remember those days.......hmmmm.

To play in a band, music, long hair the "mad ROCK" image..we were always seen by public as a negative influence towards society such as drugs, woman etc. etc.
