The Mystery of Effie Johnson The mystery of Effie Johnson...sounds a bit like an old adolescent mystery novel! Well, since I have discovered Effie Johnson in a pile of unwanted auction items...I have felt a bit like Nancy Drew!!!
This picture, and hundreds of others, taken in the late 50s and 60s are my find of a century! I have had a great time trying to unravel her mystery. Her pictures are photos of McCall, Idaho and of the world! |

| | Private beach Seems to be a private lake front...or even a wonderful river view! What is nice about this shot is that I could have taken it! The areas around McCall still look this pristine...this was shot in 1956... Another E Johnson slide! |
