So called "Sema Ayini"begins with "namaz-praying",some chapters are explained from Mesnevi,Mevlana's book,a small commemorative ceremony for Mevlana,then Semazens (Whirling Derwishes) start this special ceremony by Sufi music included some special "wind & stringed musicial instruments :Ney,Rebab,Kemence,Kudum and Zil"
During Sema,Derwishes whirl their right handpalms to upside and left handpals to the ground.That tells us "we take from God and we give to the people".
The largest "tekkes" (Mevlevi cummunities) are in Galata, Yenikapi, Kasimpasha, Besiktas and Üsküdar Mevlevihane.Those are all located in Istanbul.But the main source is in Konya city,Mid-Anatolia region.

In Istanbul,you can find many places to see a Whirling Derwish,although most of those are with commercial purpose.
