Nosara

Playa Nosara

Looking out the window

From our kitchen window and the balcony, we could see Playa Nosara .
Every morning we went out for a walk and felt the sprays from the wild surf.
Playa Guiones

Down the road

Nosara is spread out and lack s a real center. There are many roads without signs so driving around the area is a bit difficult.
We can spot a beach in the distance though and usually can find it.
This one could not be missed, it was huge and there were some nice tidepools.
Playa Pelada

Not far

Within walking distance from our condo was another nice beach. It was backed by trees and bushes where we saw many birds. We also saw many hermit crabs that needed a shell. They were using anything that they could find for a make shift house.
There was a small restaurant on the corner with good seafood.

An excellent overview of one of the countries high on my wish list - and now even higher, thanks especially to your descriptions of birds and the turtles nesting
