VT Kado is from Jeddah ( in the western province facing the Red Sea ) and I am from Al Dammam ( eastern province facing Persian Gulf ).We met in Dr Cafe ( pronounced as Cave ..if you read it in Arabic ) , a local cafe which look almost exactly the same as big boys cafe like Startbucks ( the coffee ? Nothing to shout about )

The picture here is not taken from there but in Mc Donalds , we decided to drop by the nearest place to get some ice cream. Hehe ! Guess what ? VT Kado brought me some cookies from the cool Music Cafe , Vertigo ( he is the co -owner )in Jeddah. He dont feel envy okay !!

The cookies are so yummy and when i look at the brochure of Vertigo, I am so tempted to stop by Jeddah again, be it the ambience , the food, the coffee or the distinctive style of the so called Music Cafe ...

Hope it will open in Kuala Lumpur soon as well ...

A meeting with VT Pehsan ( aka Tomb raider ) and VT Cheekychic ( aka Shannon ) at the RED MANSION. It was a terrific time meeting the two pretty ladies of Penang. The place is fun and cozy.

Its such a pity that I have to leave early to fetch my uncle who came from Kay Ell ...else we will be takling and snapping pics , talking , snapping pics till we scare all the customers away :-) " ... I know those small bolsters are cute ...but you cant take them home ...please ive us back ".. ( see how tight they hug the bolsters ) .....where am I ? taking pics of course ..after all I know everybody is only interested in pretty ladies ..nobody gives a damn about handsome guy :-)

I hope I will get to meet the rest of the gang soon ...from left Sam, James ( very quiet that day ), Deni ( a real backpacker ), Marcia ( the cool diver ), Shannon (my fellow Penangite), Diana, Chia, me ( in the bright blue shirt ..hehe) ,Peter ( the lucky guy in Saudi ), Suz, Audrey ( the most active VT I must say ) and last but not least the infamous Jen.

We not only had a wonderful vegetarian buffet at Madras Woodland in Bangsar but Audrey baked a very tasty cake for us to munch while be share our travelling experience and future destinations....

I asked Ali , what are the typical English cuisine that I can get... and here we are in this small but beautiful pub ....having the typical English lunch :-) ....beacon and liver in yummy gravy ....but Ali's looks very tasty also ...and after that we went to visit the infamous cathedral and walking all over Canterbury before bidding goodbye as I head back to London ....

Thanks Ali and we shall meet again ..sometimes ,somewhere ...to this kentish girl who so wonderful, friendly and full of zest , I wish her a smooth and safe sailing during her world tour

Thats Rene and me having dinner in one of the coolest restaurant in Florence , the food is very tasty but the price is affordable !
