1600 -- Arrive, ATM (Bht 4000). Purchase airline tickets to Siem Reap (~US$200) bus to Sukumvit (Bht 100). Rain, rain, rain!

1800 -- Check in to Nana Hotel (Bht 1000 per night).

1900 -- Dinner at Food Center

2000 -- Walking tour of Sukumvit

2100 -- Country Roads at Soi Cowboy

2330 -- Nana Hotel Dance Club

0530 -- Awake, check out

0600 -- Taxi to airport (Hotel Taxi Bht 400).

0700 -- Depart for Siem Reap

1400 -- Arrive from Siem Reap. Taxi to Sukumvit, Nana Hotel (Bht 300 including tolls).

1500 -- Take Taxi to Grand Palace, but it is closed for the day. The security guards point me to Golden Mount, Temple of the Standing Buddha, and Chao Praya.

1600 -- Tuk-Tuk to Golden Mount -- the best views of the city. Also walk through the temple & see young Thais painting murals on the walls.

1700 -- Stop at Chao Praya which I soon learn is a custom suit shop. The driver also takes me to a local jewelry store. I buy two custom suits for US$290.

1800 -- Tuk-Tuk to Wat Indravihan, the Temple of the Standing Buddha. (total Tuk-tuk fare is about Bht 40) It begins to rain so I sit and chat with the locals. They ask if I want to go to Thonburi for a good Thai massage.

1900 -- Arrive in Thonburi, grab a few drinks and get a 2 hour massage for Bht 1500 (US$30). Then go to Karaoke for Bht 500.

2200 -- Go to Excite? Extreme? Nightclub in Thonburi.

0100 -- Return to Nana Hotel

1000 -- Awake, taxi to boat docks.

1100 -- Boat tour of grand canal in Thonburi (Bht 1500). Stop at floating market and Thonburi Snake Farm (Bht 100/person). End at Wat Po.

1300 -- Lunch near Wat Po. I have Pad Thai.

1330 -- Go to Wat Phra Keo and the Grand Palace.

1430 -- Wander through market near Wat Phra Keo & buy tropical fruits.

1600 -- Go to a small restaurant/bar in Thonburi and eat the fruit, drink beer, and have French fries.

1900 -- Return to Bangkok via motorcycle taxi (Bht 200). Stop at McDonald's, Democracy Monument, and the Giant Swing.

2100 -- Go to bed!

0900 -- Taxi to airport, run meter (Bht 240 including tolls).

1100 -- Quick bite to eat at the airport, then catch a plane.
