It was actually pretty amazing to me because I live in Southern California; land of the SUV's. I'm used to seeing huge passenger vehicles every day so it was strange to be in a city where most people got around on two wheels rather than four.

It was not unusual to see families of 3-4 on one bike.

Girls with handkerchiefs and gloves to protect themselves from the fumes and grime.

And there are hardly any traffic lights. Most of the traffic just ebbs and flows and everyone seems to "melt" together and it all goes smoothly. And, we didn't see any accidents! I'm sure they must happen but my guess is, not nearly as often as you would think.

Good grief, this would never work in my town...LOL

Even in the rain the motorcycles far out number vehicles.

Notice the brightly colored "rain slickers" that cover not only the rider but much of the bike as well.
