St. Thomas' Cathedral

St. Thomas' Cathedral

The St. Thomas' Cathedral was first built as a church when the foundation stone was laid in 1676 and was later completed in 1718 after a long time as there were several problems inbetween. In July 1837 the church became a cathedral when Dr. Thomas Carr was appointed the Bishop of Bombay. St. Thomas' Cathedral is open on all days from 7am to 6pm.

HAHAHA!!! There is a very small Jewish community still living in India and there are a few of their places of worship also surviving since the olden times!!!
