The people of Mekong Delta lead a different life from their city cousins in HCMC. How challenging it must be to make a home in the vast marshlands and forests in the Delta! I had a chance to meet and interact with some of these Delta folks, many of whom are of Vietnamese , Khmer, Chinese and Cham origins.
These little darlings that you see in the picture are from the Ben Tre Province. They lead a simple life and make toy grasshoppers from the leaves of palm trees. |
