Yurakucho Izakaya in Tokyo

Under the rails at Yurakucho Station

..at a small, crowded, cheap "izakaya" pub whose clientele is mostly salarymen.
The real experience, guided and generously hosted by "local" manuelEB and solo_mc. Thank you both again for the new learning yet another facet of Tokyo life!

By the restaurant staff, only the ladies got special treatment - free dessert - just right amount of ice cream with espresso poured upon it! So, ladies an incentive for you to help increase the feminine balance at these izakayas...

Exotic Thai restaurant, where we stayed until well after closing time. The tired and busy staff cleaning up, but still kindly took many photos for us, and never kicked us out at all.

One Cinderella's sparkle begins to fade...

...and the story stops here after midnight for roseamano and family, as Prince Charming, the sparkly dress, glass slippers, and carriage would soon turn to: beer-drinkin' couch potato (;-p), kitchen apron, house slippers and a pumpkin (which would then be made into a yummy pie whilst wearing a crisp apron with plush comfy slippers of course)..
