Family holidays as a child were almost always taken in the UK.
We did take a couple of family holidays abroad, firstly Benidorm in Spain, and a few years later we visited Tossa De Mar on the Costa Brava and Barcelona.
When I was at school my parents sent me on a few trips to different parts of France and Belgium, I also went on a school trip to The Netherlands.
Because I was quite young I dont have tips or pics from these trips just wonderful memories!
I loved visiting the D Day beaches in Normandy, seeing the Tapestry in Bayeux, windmills and cheese markets in The Netherlands and Visiting anywhere in Paris was always fab! |
