Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia Province, Canada This VT photograph was taken at the fishing village of Peggy's Cove located at the maritime province of Nova Scotia in Canada. The lighthouse at the background is facing the Atlantic Ocean, and it is the most photographed and famous lighthouse in Canada. This was part of my 2 weeks trip to the provinces of Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Ottawa, the capital of Canada in Nov 2005, and I truely enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the landscapes as well as the friendly people of Canada. |
Herbal Medicine Factory Visit, Japan This VT photograph with me in the interesting white "ninja" clean suit was taken during a visit to a famous herbal medicine factory at Tokyo during July 2005. Although it was a rather short trip to Japan, I enjoyed the interesting culture, scenery and the friendly people of Japan. I will definitely visit Japan again next time. |
Nizwa Fort, Oman This VT photograph was taken at the famous and impressive fort at the town of Nizwa in Oman. This was part of an enriching trip to Oman in Jan 2005, which I have learnt a lot about the culture of this peaceful and friendly country in the Middle East. |
Gorkhi Terelj National Park, Mongolia This VT photograph was taken among the beautiful flowers during summer at the Gorkhi Terelj National Park. This was part of a 4 hours leisure trek in the national park and the scenery, flowers and weather is simply fantastic. Really enjoyed my stay here. |
Queenstown, New Zealand This VT photograph was taken outside a Maori culture performance in Queenstown, New Zealand. The Maori culture performance was very exciting and the Maori food was also a good experience. I enjoyed the occasion very much. |
Xinjiang Province, China This VT photograph was taken at a remote Kazakh village in the beautiful Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang province in Western China. This area is seldom visited by tourists but the village folks intend to develop it into a tourist attraction. |
Chamarel Falls, Mauritius This was one of my previous VT photos, and it was taken at the magnificient Chamarel Falls at the mountainous southern part of the beautiful Mauritius island. Other attractions in this area include the mult-coloured earth as well as the Black River Gorges National Park. |
Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan Province, China This was another of my previous VT photos which was taken at Jiuzhaigou, which is one of the most colourful and beautiful places on Earth as far as nature is concerned, especially during autumn. To my VT friends, this photo seems to be very striking to them because of the big rock next to me :) I remembered them commenting about it during our first VT gathering. When I changed it to the Mauritius photo above, they thought that I was infuenced by their comments (hehehe !) |
