Tuscany Tuscany is such a beautiful area. Unfortunately I have never had the opportunity to stay there for more than 2 or 3 days. But I would love to go back and just wander from city to city. |
Rome No trip to Rome is complete without a visit to the Trevi Fountain. Throw a coin over your shoulder and some day you are sure to return! |
Pisa If you are near Pisa, it's worth it to stop by for a few moments to see the Leaning Tower. Several years ago when I was there you could only observe from the ground; now you can actually climb the leaning tower. |
Florence Rub the nose of the wild boar and you are sure to return to Florence some day! Or if you are like me, you will simply fall in love with tihs city of art and find a way somehow to return. |
Interlaken Gimmewald may be a favorite of Rick Steves, but there is a reason for that. It's beautifully nestled in the mountains and seems like something right out of the book Heidi. I really expected to see Grandfather and Peter with their goats coming down from the mountain. |

New York City I'm proud to be an American! When I see the statue of Liberty it reminds me of all of the people who have traveled from all parts of the world to be Americans. |
