Ther are not much animals on Svalbard, but there are more than just the polarbear.

Svalbardrein (raindeer) is an animal you can watch from anywere on Svalbard, even when you eat at the resturant in the middel of Longyear....

The Polarfox is not that easy to spot. I saw it once, when I was on a scootersafari to Barentsburg.

I was on a scootersafari to Barentsburg. That was a great and a bit sceary experiense.
But as you can see from the first picture, the day started just fine....

But on Svalbard the weather changes from sun to blizard in now time....
So the trip that was going to last for 6 hours ended up lasting for 11 hous.....

Barentsburg is a different town.
If you compear Longyear to Barentsburg, its like two differes worlds.
Barentsburg has it`s charm, but it`s a minecity and almoust everything is black and grey.

And here, as you can see the old "comunist-state" is very present here on Barentsburg.
