Since Peter the Great was responsible for the creation of Petrozavodsk his statue can be found down by the lakeside. I generally spend a lot of time walking by the Lake, since every day is different. :-)

Flaoting ship

This is a nice touch, a floating ship out on the lake that is a bar and eating establishment. As yet I have not had the chance to sample their wares, but fully intend to do so in the near future.

A Long way from Egypt

This is a new one on me, not had chance to decode the writing yet on the Pyramid. There is a lot of developement going on down by the lakeside, what with new apartment blocks as well as sculptures and the like.

The Rotunda

Now this feature is right outside the Pink Palace (The Wedding Office) and it is normal to see the newly weds taking advantage of the stunning views. Also it is a good meeting point as well as haven from the rain...lol.

Statue !!!

Another new statue at the far end of the Embankment. Just past it is some more new apartment blocks being built.
