The children running around in a small village. We stopped at this village before arriving at the village where the Long Necked Tribe lived.

Khaosan Rpad

The famous Khaosan Rd. I had never seen that many backpackers at once!!! There was so much to see and do there. I bought lots of stuff, like bracelets, CD's, fisherman pants, etc.

Black teeth

I met this cheerful woman when I visited the Long Necked Tribe. She was showing off her black teeth and told be that the blacker teeth you had, it meant that you were more beautiful. She made me try this leaf (very bitter taste) and she told me that this leaf is to be chewed from a child, so the older you get, the more beautiful you get!!

Friendly monks.

I wasn't sure if they would take a picture with me, but they were very friendly, but told me to crouch because I had to be of a lower level than the monks. I cannot touch them or sit beside them. My boyfriend who also took a picture with the monks got to sit beside them.

Gold

I forget the name of the Wat (Temple) right now, but it was magnificent. So much gold, all around you. Seriously, my eyes hurt from all the gold. But it was amazing. The architechtures, the small buddhas, etc. The view from the Wat is gorgeous too. Since it's up in the mountains, you can have the whole view of Chiang Mai!!!

Little girl.

Only 5 years old!!! She just started wearing the ring around her neck.
