I didn't actually stay at this hotel, but I took a picture anyway while I was walking around town. The cobblestone street gives it an old-fashioned air, don't you think? Very pretty!

Here is one of the fountains in downtown Sundsvall, surrounded by street lamps. On Sunday afternoons, Sundsvall is a very quiet place, perfect for just walking around and taking pictures since there are no crowds.

The river in Sundsvall

Runs through Sundsvall, that is. In May, after the snow has melted and the trees have become green, the river area is beautiful.
