Red, yellow and green are the Pan-African colors

Red, yellow and green are the Pan-African colors
RED the color of blood that the people gave for their independence
YELLOW the color of the most important mineral of the country(gold)
GREEN for the fertility of the country

BLACK for the people who died fighting for their liberty
Along the coast you'll always find pirogues and fishermen. don't risk your life to ride along.
Lake Volta is one of the biggest artificial lakes in the world, you can find tourist boats and local people with pirogues who will bring you to the islands in the lake. It's also safe to swim here, so enjoy it.
A little rascal in Damongo, with on the background the typical architecture of the north.
The beautiful scenery near Fort Amsterdam.
The mosque in Larabanga is one of the oldest mosques in West Africa. When you're in Laranbanga you can always find a guide, who will tell you the whole history of the mosque.
In Ghana they have the most beautiful beaches of West-Africa, but ironically they use it also as junkyard and public toilet.
A waterfall near Aburi, expect to pay a small fee at the locals.
The water is safe to swim in an also very refreshing after a long ride.
When you're lucky you can by a beer or lemonade, but it isn't that cold as the water.
