"Danau Kota" Setapak Travelogue by l_joo

Danau Kota is a residential area surrounded by Taman Setapak, Taman Ibukota, Ayer Panas, Wardieburn Camp and Taman Furlong. The road access to it is Jalan Genting Kelang. Visitors from Gombak road can take the narrow road of Chong Hwa Secondary School of Taman Setapak or the other way via Taman Ibukota road.

The section near to Wardieburn Camp has a large shanty village which is what you see in some of the photos. Just opposite these shanties is the new developed commercial centre where Fatimah restaurant located. (left) is a restaurant from the road of Taman Ibukota. Further down is where two big Penang-styled Kopitiams with huge screen for watching football live at night. Visitors can start from these restaurant area and go all the way until Chong Hwa Secondary School to explore Danau Kota.
