I had so many pictures of the Alhambra I thought I may as well create its own travelogue.
You can visit the The Alhambra Web Site by clicking on this text!
There is another great site located at this address:

Please be sure to rate my tips and leave your comments! I love getting them!
I remember distinctly the Palace of the Lions within the Alhambra Complex. The architecture is amazing.
It is actually a part of what they call the Nasrid Palaces.
You will get a soar next in the Alhambra because the detail in the ceilings is well worth looking at. It is amazing and if you are on one of the guided tours they often go into detail about its meaning!
His doesn't make much of a picture but in what they call the Medina there were these steam baths that were interesting!
One of the most pleasant parts of the Alhambra Complex is what they call the Generalife!
They are lush gardens, fountains and once a place for the sultans to relax.
From the Alhambra you get a great view of the hills near by and if you look closely you will see all the entrances to the Gypsy caves!!
These are real, apparently you can arrange somehow to get inside them but it was out of my league on this trip anyway!

The old moorish quarters sounds just up my street. Thanks for a lovely page :) ~ Jen ~
I visited Granada back in '87, thanks for the trip down memory lane. I had not heard of EF tours before and I didn't know just anyone could organize one.....not that you are "just anyone" of course! Great pages.
Jamie, this is certainly a star-worthy page with lots of great and correct information and useful tips. Your love of Spain is evident.
Wow a pint of Sangria, i admire your staying power LOL
Nice job, my friend. I always wear a neck wallet to avoid getting pickpocketed. Based on the photos I've seen in your page and my high school Spanish class, I think I'd prefer the Generalife too.
Flamenco in a gypsy cave :o) How great that would be to see! But you need more shopping tips .... :o) ~ Helen
Once again, a great page Jamie!!!! Lots of great tips and photos! The Sangria drink sounds delightful (haha)!!!
What an excellent page! Great tips and wonderful photos! I'm hoping to go there next year, and it really looks like a fabulous place :) Greetings from Maria.
I hadn't heard about the gypsy caves here before! I love Spain, and I've long wanted to see the old Moorish architecture in this area. A great page, including your travelogues!
