|  | Noon heat at 48 ? C ... which is the equivalent to about 116 ? F makes it impossible to do greater activities. Even the horses are standing still and seeking the cooler areas of the water.
The hills in the area of the Alentejo strechting through the middle of Portugal towards the South are known for their hot summers with dry heat and almost no rains. |
