"Sungai Buloh Road" Kepong Travelogue by l_joo

If you haven’t yet in love with the fun of gardening, this Sungai Buloh road is not your choice for sure. So let’s assume you are in love with gardening to let me introduce to you our Bulohan art of gardening. This so-called Sungai Buloh road is not just a single concentration point but in fact spreading over the areas around it. At the moment we can find them in Sungai Buloh road which is an easier location for fresh visitors. Before we go there, I also wanted to introduce another 3 locations which are as important as this one.

One is at the road to the leprosarium hospital which is located across the highway from this Sungai Buloh road. On the highway itself is another good location where you can buy all kind of gardening materials and beautiful plants. The last location is right inside the old leprosy hospital which is deep inside the road.

How to get there
Start from city centre with a pick-up truck if possible to the Federal Highway. Pick-up truck is easier if you want to upload several pots of big plants. Drive until you see the road sign to Subang Airport and turn in. Take the Subang Airport road which is the old Malaysian International Airport, be careful with the highway as most road signs will confused drivers. Make sure you drive on the road to the airport. When you already see the airport, keep going until you see the town of Subang, but don’t stop just keep going ahead until you come to a gasoline station Mobil if not mistaken. Turn right will do and be expect to confront the vast congested traffic jams.

Aquarium lover
Before you see the Mobil gasoline station, halfway on the old Subang road has one big sized tropical fish breeding ground. The name of this aquarium is Aquatics International Sdn Bhd. So make sure you don’t miss it especially if you are one of its fans. They open daily even on Sunday but only until 5.30pm. Fish dealers and personal hobbyists are all welcome.
