How to get there
Take the Federal Highway as it is the only road I familiar with, also an easier choice. Federal Highway is a very important road built earlier than the year I move to Kuala Lumpur. Visitors to Kerinchi village must learn more about Federal Highway before he or she can see the Kerinchis. Say you come from the direction of city centre, what you do is keep driving or cycling until you see the big blue road sign pointing to Kerinchi or Kampung Kerinchi. The highway roads can be very tricky if you are fresh. One of the roads beside the road sign is actually to another place, so make sure you take the correct one otherwise you will end up at somewhere Petaling Jaya or Damansara. If you drive a car, please avoid driving at 5.30pm or 8am in the morning because the traffic jams are beyond what you can imagine.

When you see the correct Kerinchi sign, turn left. This will send you to a hilly road where you can see numerous high rise apartments in front of you and also street café restaurants at you left. Keep going at about 400 meters where you can see a road at left, take this road and drive to the end just about another 400 meters to see Kerinchi village.

Kerinchi village are much comfortable than other shanties village because I noticed this village take more care about the overall ambience. This is undoubtedly my personal opinion for I only been to the place twice so far.

How did you manage to find that place? I'm living nearby & always use this road. Not only that it's filthy , but also, the roads will end up with holes from time to time! I guess everyone are trying to avoid the toll! Haha! Keep up the good work!
