15 Jan 2005 at Kargeen Cafe, Muscat I met up with Mr Virgil Williams (VT member DesertRat) and his wife at the Kargeen Cafe at Muscat, Oman on 15 Jan 2005. We had a wonderful time at this lovely restaurant, and the food was great too ! A big thank you to Virgil and his wife for meeting up with me, treated me to dinner as well as sending me back to the hotel. |
10 Dec 2004 at Shaw Towers, Singapore The VT gathering for Dec 2004 was held at the Sofra Turkish Café & Restaurant in Shaw Towers. Many VT members living in Singapore, as well as VT members from Hong Kong and Malaysia turned up to have a nice Turkish dinner, and more importantly having a good time catching up with each other ! |
28 Oct 2004 at McCafe, Singapore Now the VT gathering in Singapore is becoming regular, almost every month, and it is very nice to catch up with other wonderful VT members in Singapore, as well as VT members from overseas who visit Singapore during this period of time. |
30 July 2004 at Suntec City, Singapore This was the biggest VT gathering in Singapore to date, with 28 people turning up, including our VT friends from Malaysia, Slovenia and Mumbai! After having a sumptous dinner at Marche in Suntec City, one group went to the nearvy Olio Dome to have supper and continued chatting, while another group went to the pub to have a good time. Overall, it was a very enjoyable occasion for everyone! |
30 April 2004 at Suntec City, Singapore The VT gathering on 30 April 2004 at Suntec City, Singapore was another enjoyable one to meet up with VT friends again, including some new VT members living in Singapore as well as gueto who had recently moved to Singapore with her husband. |
10 April 2004 at Newton, Singapore The VT gathering on 10 April 2004 at Newton Hawker Centre, Singapore was to welcome some of our VT friends from Indonesia who was in Singapore for a shopping trip. We had a good dinner, and I brought them for a night tour of the Singapore city area after that. |
10 Oct 2003 at Suntec City, Singapore This was the first VT gathering in Singapore and I was extremely happy to meet up with other VT members living in Singapore as well as VT friends from othe countries. We had a good time chatting during dinner followed by a drink after that. |
March 2002, Hong Kong I would like a give a very big thanks to my VT friend, Yin from Hong Kong who took time off work to meet up with me in Hong Kong as well as brought me for sightseeing. We also met up with her friends for some night activities, and I really enjoyed her hospitality during my stay in Hong Kong. |
