Wales is a special place for us Kiwi's and not because of the sheep. But because the country side is very similar to home. We love it here. Rolling hills in the south up to bigger hills and valleys. And the beaches in the north are lovely. |
| | Stonehenge Don't bother paying the ten pounds to go in - you can take just as good pictures through the chain link fence. It's a rip off! And a lot smaller than I expected. But a neat place. The Woodhenge in Aylesbury is so much better though and it's free!!! |
| | Tower Bridge - London This bridge is still my favourite! And the walk from Waterloo Station along the southbank to get there is one of the best walks in London! You get to appreciate nearly everything that is nice about the city! |
| | The Cerne Giant Well this is a chalk drawing down in Devon (or Dorset I'm not sure now). It's very famous for the very large and obvious appendage. Superstition has it that if couples sit on him that they will be very fertile... I have my doubts, but there you go. |
| Christmas Lunch - Austin style... |
| | Oh Dearrrr.... Well it was one of the first photos I ever took on my new digital camera and it just happened to be while Austin was cooking our Christmas lunch. He loves his chicken! |
| | Joc & Lee Joc is my second cousin and Lee is her partner (soon to be husband!). I didn't know Joc existed until I came to London in 1997. My dad rang me one day and told me that I had a cousin in London and that I should look her up. Well most of my cousins are much older than me so I was a little reluntant... But I'm glad I did because we were pretty much inseparable for the five years they were here. Now they are back home in Australia and about to get married... Awhhhhh.... |
