After getting on our boat we proceeded out of the harbor on our way along the west coast to the town of Soufriere.
Here we are passing one of the countries " Prisons "...

The Coast

Sailing along the coast gives you a unique look at Saint Lucia..
You will see small fishing villages, some towns and hotels along the way.
You will also get to see some remarkable coast lines...
Here we are heading for soufriere...

Main Street

Arriving at Soufriere you quickly see that it is very active, with people everywhere.
You will see the many street vendors and shops along your route.

Smell anyone

Driving up to the vocano along twisty rodes is a trip by it self.
Roads are not the best here or in many other places ( Costa Rica)..
When you reach the Volcano you can really get the smell of sulfer....
Also up here you have a chance to buy local crafts and goods...

About the gardens

We also went to the gardens,diamonds falls, and mineral baths..It was very interesting to learn about all the plants which rely on for many of our food coloring and tastes, along with medicine etc....

The Gardens

Walking around the gardens you can see just how beautiful it really is.
It sort of makes you forget about winter back home..

Diving for coins

Arriving back in soufriere to the boat we were greeted boy some boys who were diving for coins .. just through them in and they will go get them, keeping them of course....
It was kind of interesting watching them, as they were out there for 30 minutes or so, how many of us could do that...

Snokel time

Our final stop for the day was at this spot for snorkeling.. We got to see many different fish...
The water was a little rough and we had to use borrowed gear, which is not always the best..
If you like to snorkel and have your own stuff i would suggest that you bring it, it's very safe on the boat..
