20 March 2004 Sally, "shrimp56" came to the San Diego area, stayed in lovely Coronado. We got together for a MINI-VT Meeting. Spent a whole day driving around San Diego, mostly along the coast, had a wonderful time talking and getting to know each other out of cyberspace.

| | 5 July 2004 GUYON with wife, Monique and youngest daughter came to San Diego for a visit and we met downtown at The Fish Market Restaurant. GUYON says that his accent is too strong when he speaks English, but I thought his accent was charming and didn't have any trouble understanding him. It was so nice after all these years being a big fan of his Paris page--which I think is the Best--to finally meet him and his wife. |
24 July 2004 Pete,pbuyse2, his son and son's friend--Sorry I can't remember their names--was visiting San Diego and we all met at Casa de Bandini for afternoon cocktails and a late dinner.

| Big Party at Beaches Restaurant |
| | 31 July 2004! Second Annual VT Weekender in Manhattan Beach, California.
Couldn't begin to list everyone who were at Beaches Friday night, so I won't even try. I could only stay the one night, but the Meeting lasted two more days!
If you want an idea of how to spend your vacation time, I'd encourage you to consider being in Los Angeles in time for one of these Annual Weekenders! Wonderful people to meet, delicious food to eat and a hilarious time to be had! Treat yourself to a grand time. |
30 October, 2004 "lauriejeanne's" VT Birthday PartyWe all met at Benihana's in Carlsbad to help Barry surprise LJ the day before her birthday. It was a small, but festive group and Laurie-Jeanne was actually surprised!

| | 13 November 2004 Another VT Meeting. This time at the Bali Hai on Shelter Island.Bob, VT Member, "tropicdiver" came to San Diego with his daughter, Susan, VT Member, susieq04 to attend her fiancé's graduation from bootcamp at MCRD.
Yubert informed us that he'd like to have a VT Meeting and of course we agreed without hesitation! |
