Antwerp and Lier
End of march 2004, a pubcrawl in Antwerp. The place to be !!
Dannie and Rudy decided we all had to wear a hat. And due to the storm that night it was a
great task...
We had a lot of fun in small and weird pubs and drinking some homemade liquor in the
subway station, because of the storm.

The next day we just had to do something cultural.......
A visit to Lier was on the program.

Back in time in Eindhoven April 2004, it feels like april 0004, we joined probably the first prehistoric VT meeting ever.
Catnl organised a great weekend in Eindhoven. Cooking over open fire, made of wood chopped by the men..... (and lots of modern beer)
It was a small meeting with diamonddog, Alain_Smeets, kiriel, catnl and us attending.

Middelburg August 2004
The only sunny day in August, the wettest month ever here, we went to the VT meeting in Middelburg.
Elisabeth and Pip organised a relaxed day in this lovely city. It started with lunch on a terrace, followed by a walking tour with explanations about the monuments by Pip. And then the boattour, with a guide telling us about the history of Middelburg, both in dutch and broken german.
The day ended with dinner in Vlissingen overlooking the sea.

Antwerp (again.....)
November 2004 it is time to visit Antwerp again. This time to welcome Imelda (almelain) to Belgium.
Again we had a great day, but it could have been a bit warmer ;-)
Then again it was warm enough in the numerous pubs we visited...

2004 / 2005 in Antwerp The last hours of 2004 we had a great party at the Mongolian Wok in Antwerp. Around twelve we went to the river to see the fireworks and after that we returned to the restaurant to have some more drinks.

Eindhoven, another prehistoric adventure.
In april 2006 Carin (catnl) organised another prehistoric adventure. Again it was great fun. The weather could have been better, but the warm company of good VT friends helped alot :-)

Antwerpen, rain and tallships
In august 2006 the tall ships visited Antwerp. A perfect occasion to have another VT meeting. The weather was absolutely not what we ordered. There was water everywhere, not only around the ships but also on the Market Square. We had a lot of fun though........
