One of the few free ride (unmonitored) skiing spots in the world accessible by lift. You ski there at your own risks...
I actually skied down this glacier. A friend of mine got crazy enough to take me there. Once you start skiing, there is no other way but down.
Except of course the rescue helicopter... |

|  | A few hours later my rather uh... unconventional skiing style led me to loose one ski under the unpacked snow. After half an hour, we managed to find it. I was REALLY starting to get scared! (few hamsters have survived a night 3000 meters high) |
Absolutly unbelievable view. For advanced skiers only ( I learned it the hard way :)
People die here on a regular basis because of their lack of elementary prudence and planning.
Be careful, only ski there with someone who knows the spot and its traps. | | |
