Alleyways and passageways

The Call-Barri Gotic
Some of the areas around Barcelona's Barri Gotic or other medieval areas are very intriguing and beautiful. Sometimes it is simply in the way that they have planned the urban development. The result is often, small cobbled streets and narrow alleyways. It makes for a quaint neighborhood to visit, and it never gets old to me.
Plaza Santa Maria del Mar-Barri Gotic
You never know what you are going to find. It is great to walk around and deviate from the map every now and again.
Entrance to inner courtyard, Barcelona Cathedral
Sometimes you just have to walk out of the right door and a beautiful sight will be right in front of you.
Old street sign and lamp-Barri Gotic
Or even if you need to find your way, it may be best just to look up.
