Ever since 1971, completion of En Svensk Klassiker (Swedish classic circuit) has been the crowning achievement for many fitness enthusiasts. The circuit diploma has been awarded to 15 494 men and 2 297 women to date. To qualify for the diploma, you must finish a Swedish classic event in each of the four disciplines (skiing, running, swimming, cycling) within the space of twelve months. I completed this challenge in 2003, as number 18976 (since 1971).

Since the first Lidingöloppet in 1965, hundreds of thousands of runners have run the world’s biggest cross-country race. The main categories are 30 km for men and 10 km for women, but there are categories for all ages and many different distances. For more information, please check out: Lidingöloppet.


I completed this 30km race the 28th of September 2002.

The first Vasaloppet was run in 1922 and since then 350 486 skiers have completed the course over 90 km. through the forests between Mora and Sälen.
This unique challenge attracts skiers of all categories around the whole world, from the "fun skier", whose only ambition is to reach the finish before 8 pm. to the elite racer, who competes for the victory purse, prizes and prestige. For more information, please check out: Vasaloppet.

I completed this 90km skirace the 23rd of February 2003

As far as I know this is the largest non-racing ride of the world in category long distance. Was arranged for the first time in 1966 with some 300 riders. Today nearly 18000 entries.

The track goes around the lake Vättern - the second largest in Sweden and the distance is 300 km.

A 3km swimming race in the cold river of Dalälven. The first 2km goes down the stream, and the last kilometer goes up the stream.
