Art Car Festival

by bottleofdoom - last update: Feb 1, 2004

Art Car Party after Caravan

Me, Warrior & Snowflake
Making friends in Art Car World. I was feeling a little out of place at the first art car party, so I decided to break the ice by having my photo taken with the most interesting looking people (which was mostly everyone!). Wound up making some friends.
Don & Famous painting

Bar Hopping

This is Don in one of the bars around 6th & Valencia. I think it was Cassanova.
Pop Icon

How Berkeley Can You Be? Parade

This is my fiends art car, Pop Icon, that we rode in the caravan and the parade in. The photo is from the end of the parade where all the art cars parked for the festival across the street. The Phenomenauts gave an impromtu performance in this parking lot.
Mr. MC
This was the mc for all the musical events at the festival after the parade.
Pink Bunny
Some more Berkeley paraders.
By the water

Outside Trader Vic's

Since we were going to Trader Vic's, I decided to wear my new dress from Manifesto because it just went perfectly with the atmosphere of a 50's-60's style swanky tiki restaurant.

H/A was, 4 me, a major disappointment. Think I had 2 many preconceived notions about how it should be. Gr8 shopping tips. I really like them, but my wife would love some of them. S.F. one of my top 5 fave U.S. cities (Chicago,N.Y., Boston & Seattle 2!)
