Terminator Ray (~_~)

Ray told me he was going to ask one of the soldiers up there is he could borrow his gun, not thinking for a moment that he could. Unbelieveably as you can see the soldier agreed! I can only assume (and hope) the gun wasnt loaded (if thats the right term for that type of gun).

Nice Lady

This is is myself, Ray & a very kind lady who gave is a lift on our way home from Hermon. She gave us a lift as far as she was going & then we were so lucky to get a lift in a Police van all the way back to Ayelet Hashahar!

Some people are SO nice

I felt so then and I still feel that the month I spent at AS in July 1987 was the best vacation of my life. Do you remember Maxa? She used to call me a stupid monkey in German.

Wow! This took me right back to 1987 and my stay in the big rowdy volunteer house! Amazed that it is still going. It is wonderful to see so many young people from all over the world live together as we did nearly 20 years ago. .

I've never been to Israel, but it is a place that everyone should visit because of the history, culture and importance in today's time...you showed it in a wonderful light!

I too felt the same about visiting the places in Israel that I had read about in the Bible. Quite moving. I am surprised that I haven't come across this page before Nicola - you had quite some experience on the Kibbutz. :-)
