We once were lost, but now we're found . . . We got off of the trolley at the wrong stop, and ended up getting a little lost.
We stumbled upon the Czech Royal Gardens, and when we came to a clearing in the trees there it was--St. Vitus' Cathedral! |
On the path to the castle gates . . . Just look at those flying buttresses!
| | The main plaza inside the Czech castle, with St. Vitus' Cathedral climbing into the crystal clear August morning sky. |
The elaborate side of St. Vitus' Cathedral (left), and the reception area for visiting heads of state (right).
| | I spent a lot of time looking up at the cathedral. It always amazes me how ornate the designs of most cathedrals are. |
| | The Hradcany rests on a hill, and there are good views of Prague visible at certain places. |
