In some cities and towns there have been build a less conservative type of houses. And a few examples of that can be found in Madurodam

A typical farmhouse

Several areas in the Netherlands have their own style of farmhouses. And in Madurodam you can see the minitures of these kind of farmhouses. The one on this picture is just one of a couple of farmhouses you can find here

Miniature fun fair

Madurodam has even its own funfare. Complete with rollercoaster.

Madurodam´s soccer stadium

And of course a place wouldn´t be complete with its own football (soccer) stadium

waling towards the next ´miniatures´

Some miniatures are still so big that they do tower over you..

If i recall correctly the distance between me and this building was around 2 meters.. It is quite tall for a miniature. It´s the headquaters for the nationale nederlanden insurance company

Several boats and in the back of the picture you can see the miniature floodgates closing
