"Le Malien", Mohammed and Kamal

The three "international referees" who refereed the football game in Marrakesh that evening (Marrakesh-Fès). They all came from Guelmim and luckily they had to referee in Marrakesh when we were there ! We spent the afternoon together and in the evening, we went to support them. A great memory. Thank you guys for being so nice and funny.

At "ftur" time, when Moslims take their first meal of the day, he kindly invited us to eat some soup with him showing us this way what Moroccan hospitality is !

I went to the very synagogue pictured in this article and was never asked for money (I did tip my guide though). The congregants were friendly and open with me, even gave me 2 bags of candy before I left!

good info! planning to visit Marrakesh myself this summer. your hotel, what do you mean with: ""Some have a private bathroom with hot water"? some have no bathroom? or only cold water?
