This tree is located near the childhood home of H.C. Andersen and at Christmas time, it looks like something from a fairytale with hundreds of lights attached. This is probably my favorite Christmas-decoration in Odense.
The tree can be found besides the street; Thomas B. Thriges Gade - just across the street from 'Fisketovet'.

This outdoor skating rink is located a 'Graabroedre plads' and up in the winther period from November to February. It's a must-go for skaters around Christmas!

This small street is located right in the middle of the city and is kind of 'closed of' from the crowded shopping streets. That is what makes it a nice place to walk through, not at least during Christmas!
You'll find some nice restaurants and cafe's here.

This street is located just across from what I call the 'fairytale tree', and offers some interesting shops and restaurants.

Overgade is the street near the 'fairytale tree' too, and leads you through a older part of the center city, which is quite beautiful.

Like in many other cities, there is an 'official' Christmas tree on the square in front of the city hall, and it's 'lit' by the mayor of the city in the start of December.

Near the big Christmas tree and just beside the shopping-mall 'Magasin' you'll find these trees that are beautifully decorated with little lights. Walk under them, and it's like the stars are just above your head :0)
