It's really the first time I visit an abbey. Never been interested in doing that.

The school I went to when I was a kid ws not that beautiful. In fact, it was but the buildings, the court were the only areas where we could wander. The area where the Soeurs resided was not accessible. I saw their office (our classroom and administrative building) but not the place where they, Soeurs, live. No real insight on what used to be the life of a Soeur.

Here, I could guess what was the life of the Soeurs (except that this is an abbey, for men that is).

Could they get out of the building easily? or had they to make do with this view? Surely beautiful but really inviting!

Anyway, I could see what was in the area...

Of course, a door is something that interests me. Sometimes, I wonder what in behind is. Other times, I just admire the beauty of the door, its strength to keep a secret. Yes, silly but sometimes when I see an old door or some wood door, I use to ask myself "Is it strong enough to resist? Is it strong enough to keep secrets it has to? What if I push it?"

Off course, if it was half- opened, i would look. If it was interesting enough, I would wide open it...

I think this picture beautiful too!
