|  | My Little Cabin On Lummi Island This was my second home on the island (after divorce & before Texas). I lived here for a couple of years, planting flowers and rhododendrons everywhere. I still miss it! |
The Cabin With The Blue Door If you look very closely at the upstairs left window, you can see my loom peeking back at you.
Now I live in Alaska, no more loom but I still have a spinning wheel, & I get to spin Qiviut. That's the downy undercoat that the musk oxen shed in the springtime by brushing through the willows on the tundra. It's incredibly soft, wonderful to spin. | | |

| | Our Ruling Diety, Komo Kulshan, (aka Mt. Baker) No, it's not a painting, though it is one of the most-painted views in Washington State! It really is that lovely....the view of Mt. Shuksan, from Artist's Lake on Mt. Baker.
Lummi Island had spectacular views of the mainland, across Hales Passage with Mt. Baker dminating the backdrop. What a beautiful place to live.
And now in Alaska, we worship Denali (aka Mt. McKinley) |
