| | DOES MY BUM LOOK BIG IN THIS ? Yes it does, in every shot........... when you watch our holiday videos you would think that I travel alone.... the camcorder is a MAN thing in our household......here we are in Karnak temple in LuxorIts a rare thing for me to get to use it, only when there is one temple too many am I entrusted with its care |
nothing is sacred.... on a trip up the Batand Ai river in Borneo fresh fish for lunch, caught on film before its even in the net..... luckily I didnt watch the film before I ate it, I cant eat anything that has looked me in the eye
| | even rusty barbed wire on a window of the Amber Fort near Jaipur is no deterrant when it comes to getting the perfect shot..... if only the lens cap was off, it would have been so good......... |
OK here we are in the Dominican Republic oh no ! nothing is happening ! hmmm....... if only I knew what that button did....perhaps Berni has put the instruction book in her bag......... oh no, she`s taking another photograph of me with the camcorder.... folks will think thats all I do while we are on a trip.... HA HA HA ... THEY DO NOW !
| getting the dolphins on film |
| | here we are again, still recording ! this was our trip, to Tenerife, where the camcorder really misbehaved and ran out of power just as we arrived at Loro Parque, this was a blessing in disguise, there was one less thing to carry round on a hot day ! |
Of course living with Camcorder Man means no only do we have moving pictures of EVERY bird in the zoo like in this one in Lanzarotte but we have a complete and very personal record of our travels, which comes in handy when there are travel tips to write, and what better way to spend a winters day than by reliving the beach on Grand Cayman, the rainforest in Sabah, the splendour of Egypt or the pavement in ParisTHE PAVEMENT ?... well yes, not only do we have shots of the inside of the lens cap, but we also have shots of various pavements, when the camcorder has been shouldered but not switched off.... now we have `gone digital` we shall have shots of the insides of various pockets soon
| | THAT SINKING FEELING Lake Tinaroo in Queensland, Australia was lovely, till the canoe capsized and the precious camcorder sank to the bottom of the lake we didnt find it, it will be useless of course, but we could have salvaged the film.....it had Uluru and Cairns on it, and we missed being able to film our farmstay at Baralaba or our wonderful times with Tapis_Volant and Unravelau in Coffs Harbourthank goodness for insurance ! camcorderman is once more filming, and doing even more instruction book reading ! lets hope this one doesnt fall into or off of anything for a long, long time this is the Eden Project near St Austell in Cornwall, the new camcorders first outing |
ITS A FAMILY THING..... camcorderman has obviously infected his brother-in-law with the camcorder bug, this was taken at Houghton Hall near Kings Lynne
