Nutcracker Ballet

by rmdw - last update: Dec 6, 2003

Nutcracker Ballet
I had never seen the Nutcracker Ballet live. My friend, Micheline, invited to attend a performance of this historic Christmas performance.
Nutcracker Ballet
This one was being presented by Ballet Ouest, a dance company based out of the West Island of Montreal.
Nutcracker Ballet
Micheline has a family friend named Andrea who is one of ther performers in the dance company. She is 18 now but has played many of the roles in the Nutcracker during her many years doing ballet.
Nutcracker Ballet
The dancing, music, costumes, and overall production were absolutely superb!

Planning a long weekend escape for August and your tips are extremely helpful. Thank you so much!

That "expansive set of interconnected shopping malls" sorta reminds me of Chicago! I understand Londoners went wild over Krispy Kreme, as well, when it debuted @ Harrod's! Your Baton Rouge photo is gorgeous. :) Wonderful page on Montreal.
