"My Journey Back For Hari Raya..." Kampong Masjid Tanah Travelogue by coceng

Kampong Masjid Tanah Travel Guide: 60 reviews and 87 photos

On 25th November 2003, Monday...I took a cab from my house in Bandar Utama to KL Central Station...
From there at about 8 pm, I took a commuter to Seremban, the capital of the Negeri Sembilan State. The journey took about 1 1/2 hours only & there's a commuter every 20 minutes or so...
It was a smooth commuter (train) journey....

I had the time to wander around the KL Central Station, quite a big station with the connection to the KL Airport also could be done from here.
The photo shows this 'structure' of the Twin Towers, made by magazines....

There was hardly anybody waiting for the train/commuter on that evening, considering it was on the eve's of Hari Raya; The biggest Muslim celebration in Malaysia !
I guess in a way, people going to further north & further south had been reaching their 'kampungs' (villages...) by that time when I took the photo...

The commuter came & only a handful of people went in...so did I.
There's no hurried feel at all...Great !

Looking out from the inside of the commuter train, I couldn't see anybody at all ! It was not even the last train...The last train would be around midnight.

Just a sight inside the commuter captured by me...The seats were half-empty.

The Seremban train station...at night. Very nice & colourful...
Seremban, the capital of Negeri Sembilan State. It is the state next to Selangor...(KL is situated in Selangor State).
I called up my brother in Melaka, another neighbouring state, south of Negeri Sembilan.

My brother came safely...& this photo was taken by me from my brother's car.
I just wanted to test my night photography & at the same time, boasting about my new digital thingy...
He drove for about 1 1/2 hours to reach my hometown Masjid Tanah...
