"Meeting 30 Nov. 2003" Brussels Travelogue by cadzand

On Spain Square near the Central Station, the statue of Don Quichotte (hey ! he looks like Sean Connery) and Sancho Panza.
Irisbe told us this statue was erected as a symbol for the unequal struggle from the former inhabitants of this site. Their typical houses were demolished in order to built an expensive hotel.

It is looking down on that other statue from the composer Bela Bartòk and further on, the Grand'Place
