My favorite thing to do was spend time out on the water when I lived in Ketchikan, boating or fishing. This picture was taken September 27, 1997 from our boat. Volner Point ends with a dribble of islands at the end of Gravina Island.

Lucky Clover Pass & Double Rainbows

This picture was taken September 27, 1997 from our boat at Clover Pass where the Tongass Narrows end so to speak and you can start around to the backside of Revillagigedo Island. That tiny little island where there just might be a pot of gold is called Guard Island. It has a lighthouse to help guide ships into the Tongass Narrows. When I lived in Ketchikan I lived a few miles from here and the flash from Guard Island was normally present.
