Tunnels of Chu chi

With our guide Hep (a most kind hearted man) we visited much of the south. Here i'm coming out of a tunnel at Chu Chi.

Mekong Delta Market

This is a shot of a floating market (literally) in the Mekong Delta. We stayed deep in the delta at Can Tha.

My Son Ancient Capital

This is the ancient capital of the Vietnamese called My Son. These early Vietnamese were called Champa. My Son is in the middle of the country near Danang.

Forbidden Purple City

This is the main gate of the Forbidden Purple City in Hue. It was badly damaged during the war.

Perfume Pagoda Pilgrims

Here a man in the middle of this boat sings to us a song of killing Americans. It was all in good spirit. The people in this country treated very kindy and were increadible welcoming.

Bridge near Hanoi

Dad said they we were trying to take out this bridge during the whole war.

One Pillar Pagoda

The One Pillar Pagoda is what is left of much larger temple that the French destroyed as they fled Vietnam in the late 50s.
