I think my favourite place in Paris is Monmartre because it's like a village, so friendly and they even produce their own wine - right in Paris, plus you have a magnificent view of the rest of the city from there. Nice walks and good restaurants..

The thing to do when you're in the Charentes is to eat oysters, they look terrible, but i like the taste of the sea, and they are aphrodisiac! so be moderate!

Lived there 5 years, green forests, prehistoric old caves and medieval villages, good food and nice clean rivers...with great Tibetan Yogis and refugees giving a good example on how to live together in peace.
