Birds are bathing and drinking water from an old Wallace fountain.
The Bateau Lavoir is one of my favorite spots not only in Montmartre but all of Paris. I hope you get to sit there someday ...(& don't forget the music).

| | Music for Paris Lovers...just for funPutting this here for grins. Joni is one of my favorite artists in the world, and is (in my opinion) an international treasure. I hope she someday is fully recognized and, unlike van Gogh, gets her deserved props as one of the great artists and musicians of our time in this life, and not posthumously, which is usually the case for the truly great ones. As another of my musical faves Prince Rogers Nelson said in a recent interview: " I love all Joni's music ," he said, adding that he plays some of her songs live " just to keep her name out there. Joni's music should be taught in school, if just from a literature standpoint ." Amen I recommend (for starters): HEJIRA, Hissing of Summer Lawns, Shadows & Light, along with any of her many beautiful paintings. Joni |

The crčme Brule was so completely smooth, light, exquisitely flavoured with hints of vanilla and caramel.” Five stars from me! | jumpingnorman Tue Jan 27, 2009 06:18 UTC Yes, Sacre Cour is not to be missed!
