Start of the Trail

Tha Admiral Lake is a nice trail to explore in about 4 hours of hiking.

From The railroad museum just follow the former railroad tracks and signs will guide you.

There are more and longer trails than the Admiral trail; you even can do some on an ATB.

To Jessies Diner

The trail is clearly marked with red tags and flyers are available at the start. Also there's a toilet.

Please don't litter; more people like to enjoy unspoiled nature.

It doesn't matter looking over or standing by the lake, it's just beautiful.

On the top of the mountain: New life

The residu of a forest fire of years ago. This area is so remote the wood will just stay. New trees already take over.

there used to be railways all over maritime canada just no factories for freight. most closed now .glad u liked halifax area
